In need of a linebacker, the Cleveland Browns have signed Elijah Lee to their active roster after being on their practice squad.
With Anthony Walker landing on IR, the Cleveland Browns needed a linebacker. Cleveland went to their practice squad and decided to elevate linebacker Elijah Lee.

Exactly what role Elijah Lee will play is not known at this time. Lee only played 21 snaps last season in Cleveland and all were on special teams. In fact, of his 169 career snaps with the Browns, only four have been on defense. Considering their other options at linebacker which include dynamic rookie Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, the Browns will possibly turn to other names before placing a heavy workload on Lee.
