The Cleveland Cavaliers veteran big man has entered COVID protocols.
An eighth Cleveland Cavaliers player has entered COVID protocols, Ed Davis. Davis joins the seven other players in COVID protocols which have resulted in the Cavs signing players to hardship exemptions. Even though he is in protocols, Davis is expected to play in Boston Wednesday per Adrain Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Ed Davis has not played a whole lot this season, averaging just 9.6 minutes per game. However due to being down a few players those minutes have been bumped up to 14.6 over the last two contests. With the lack of big men due to health and safety protocols, Davis could be in for another increase in playing time Wednesday if he does indeed play.
