The Cleveland Browns are going to be without the former Pro Bowl cornerback due to a calf injury.
Another key player will be absent when the Cleveland Browns take the field in Week 12. Denzel Ward is going to miss some time due a calf strain per reports. Ward underwent an MRI on Monday.
A calf injury is not something that is just going to magically heal in a few weeks. More than likely it will be something that Denzel Ward has to deal with the rest of the season. Wyatt Teller had a calf injury which caused him to miss some time. Even after his return he was questionable for this past Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
The Browns secondary was suspect even with Denzel Ward in the lineup. Greedy Williams has not played a snap all season, and Ronnie Harrison is also battling the injury bug. Add in some lackluster play from others on the field and it has not been easy for Cleveland’s pass defense.
Cleveland will have to manage being without their two best defensive players in Denzel Ward and Myles Garrett. While it may be a slightly easier task in Week 12 against Jacksonville, things get a bit more difficult afterwards. The Browns face the Titans and Ravens in back-to-back weeks following their matchup with the Jaguars.
