Collin Sexton must have been channeling some NBA JAM energy Wednesday night because he was absolutely on fire. There were times when Young Bull simply would not miss.

Collin Sexton scored a career-high 41 points and midway through the 3rd quarter it did not seem like a question of if he would score a new career-high. It was a question of when it would happen. 23 of Sexton’s 41 points came in the second and helped the Cavaliers briefly take the lead late in the game.
Sexton converted on 17 of 30 attempts from the field Wednesday. This included 3 makes from deep on 9 attempts. In addition, Sexton made all 4 free throw attempts.
This is just the latest outstanding performance from Sexton. Over his past 5 games Young Bull is averaging 29.6 points per game with a 55.6 shooting percentage and a 51.6 three-point percentage. Sexton is also averaging 3.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game during this time. While the Cavaliers are only 1-4 during this span, this is a significant improvement on the previous performance of the team and the level of play of Collin Sexton.
Collin Sexton is not some sixth-man Jordan Clarkson-esque clone, but a man all his own. A man who is a starting caliber NBA guard and he is out to prove that each and every night.
