The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a contract extension with head coach J.B. Bickerstaff.
After a season and some change that saw the Cleveland Cavaliers struggle, things appear to have changed this season under J.B. Bickerstaff. Prior to the 2021-22 season Cleveland was 27-56 under Bickerstaff, but they are 19-13 and playing significantly better than previous season. So much better that the team has decided to sign Bickerstaff to a contract extension.
#Cavs head coach JB Bickerstaff has agreed on a long-term extension that’ll keep him under contract through the 2026-2027 season.
This was first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Cavaliers appear to have a talented young foundation with Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen which they are hoping J.B. Bickerstaff can continue to guide them towards relevance.
