The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned the second year forward to the Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League.
In an attempt to give Dylan Windler more playing time the Cleveland Cavaliers have placed him on assignment with the Charge. Windler is averring just 10.8 minutes in 17 games this season.
#Cavs forward Dylan Windler has been placed on assignment with the Cleveland Charge.
There’s hope that Windler can get more reps with the Charge that he hasn’t been seeing with the main club.

The 26th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Dylan Windler has been a relative disappointment thus far. Windler missed his entire rookie campaign due to an injury and played just 31 games during the 2020-21 season. The fact that Windler is not able to beat out some of the replaceable players that are currently seeing their fair share of minutes does not bode well for his future in Cleveland.
