In a move that seemingly came out of nowhere, the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Lauri Markkanen from the Chicago Bulls in a sign and trade deal.
Cleveland is acquiring Chicago restricted free agent F Lauri Markkanen on a four-year, $67M deal in a sign-and-trade, sources tell ESPN.

The Cavaliers had to part ways with Larry Nance Jr. and a future second round pick in order to make the deal happen.

The deal for the Cavaliers is certainly interesting. Lauri Markkanen does provided some much needed three-point shooting as he averages 44% from deep while scoring 15.6 points in 221 career games.
