Adam Gase would use Browns as threat

Current New York Jets and former Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase would use a trade to the Cleveland Browns as a threat. Adam Gase confirms what we all thought. He’s a jerk. Instead of trying to actually find a way to coach his team he would threaten to trade them if they did not “fall in line”. And of course the place he threatened them with was Cleveland. The thought process being to send them to the Browns to die.  https://twitter.com/RuiterWrongFAN/status/1172549810525749248?s=20 This isn’t a new thought process. Many teams and front offices have used this strategy. This doesn’t make it any less of a jerk move. Apparently the jerk store has not run out of people who are hell bent on ending the career of a player they do not get along with. Adam Gase sent Jarvis...

Minkah Fitzpatrick should interest Browns

The Miami Dolphins are in full firesale mode. Minkah Fitzpatrick is allowed to seek a trade and the Cleveland Browns should be interested. A name that could interest the Cleveland Browns has hit the market. Minkah Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick wants out of Miami and that comes to the surprise of no one. The Dolphins are openly tanking to the displeasure of players. Fitzpatrick is better than what he has shown this season and could certainly help the Cleveland Browns this season and in the future. https://twitter.com/mortreport/status/1172352162258726914?s=20 https://twitter.com/ConnorJRogers/status/1172495727844626435?s=20 Miami reportedly wants a first round pick for Minkah Fitzpatrick. That's nonsense. Fitzpatrick was a first round pick, but that is not how returns typically ...

Pressure is on the Browns to win in Week 2

After Week 1's disaster the Cleveland Browns are under a ton of pressure to defeat the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Yes, this sounds ridiculous especially considering the latest developments with Sam Darnold and various other Jets. That being said the pressure is on the Cleveland Browns to win in Week 2. https://twitter.com/FieldYates/status/1172161885506064384?s=20 Sam Darnold is out for the Jets, Le'Veon Bell may not play, Quinnen Williams is dealing with an ankle injury and C.J. Mosley did not practice. New York looks like they will be down some important players on Monday. In theory this takes pressure off the Browns to win. The problem is, the exact opposite is true. Now there is more pressure to win than before. The extra pressure is due to the fact that on ...

Browns keys in Week 2 versus Jets

There are some areas the Browns need to focus on in Week 2 as they head to New York to take on the Jets on Monday Night Football. Week 1 did not go the Browns way. They find themselves in a spot many did not expect, 0-1. There are a few things they need to work on in Week 2 if they are going to come out victorious.  Protect Baker Mayfield  Last week was an absolute disaster in this department. First there was the fact that Greg Robinson got ejected after kicking Kenny Vaccaro in the head. Robinson will not be suspended which will help the Browns, but work still needs to be done here. Baker Mayfield did not have a lot of time to throw and he was under pressure constantly. Freddie Kitchens and Todd Monken need to come together and put together an offensive gameplan in or...

Browns ban wrong fan over Logan Ryan incident

The pressure to act swiftly and harshly has resulted in the Cleveland Browns banning the wrong person from their stadium. It turns out the Browns fan who was banned from the stadium wasn’t even at the game. After Logan Ryan made the mistake of jumping into the Dawg Pound and throwing a hissy fit on twitter, the wrong person was banned.  Eric Smith received a phone call from the Browns this morning. https://twitter.com/TheBeardedDJ/status/1171776197015023616?s=20 Cleveland Scene had an article this morning about the ban. See, this is the problem with this process. Logan Ryan had no business jumping into the stands as a visiting player. At that point he accepted the risk of something happening, even if it is a fan being an asshole. In a perfect world this doesn't hap...

Jim Rome is sticking with Browns

While many people are quickly jumping of the Cleveland Browns bandwagon, Jim Rome has decided to stay with what he refers to as America's Team. Jim Rome is sticking with the the Browns. It was certainly easy for many bandwagon fans to abandon the Browns after Sunday’s defeat. Rome is not one of them.  https://twitter.com/jimrome/status/1171153634903515136?s=20 Jim Rome is sticking with America’s Team, the Cleveland Browns.  Rome proceeds to go through a list of reasons that some may abandon or criticize the Browns. If you didn’t know better it could have been Colin Cowherd’s show prep sheet. Rome is the anti-Cowherd, he is behind the Browns and actually sees the promise the team has rather than being a troll who continuously pines for the affection of Sam Darnold...

Greg Robinson won’t face suspension

Cleveland Browns left tackle Greg Robinson is lucky to only recieve a fine and not be suspended for his actions during Sunday's loss. Greg Robinson just needs to be smarter. There is no excuse for what he did on Sunday. Kicking Kenny Vaccaro in the head is unacceptable. It does not matter whether or not Robinson is experiencing frustration. https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1170763997433540614?s=20 Greg Robinson claims that it was not on purpose but it sure as hell looked like it. Not only did he kick once, after he missed he kicked again. Robinson cannot do that. His actions certainly put the Browns offensive line in a bad spot and only made things more difficult. The NFL will not suspend Greg Robinson but will receive a fine. This is not all that surprising consid...

Odell Beckham Jr. draws attention, fine with watch

Odell Beckham Jr. is an individual with a flair for the dramatic and is not afraid to make a statement with his clothing and accessories. It is a baller move to wear a watch that is worth more than a house during a football game. That’s just what Odell Beckham Jr. did this past Sunday.  Beckham was wearing a Richard Mille watch that is valued at $350,000. Originally Beckham paid just under $190,000 for the watch . There is just a certain level of human who can pull this off. Especially during a football game.  https://twitter.com/GMS_NFL/status/1170784970463416321?s=20 Odell Beckham Jr. apparently did not make any friends with the NFL though. Wearing this watch was a violation of league rules. The violation is not for wearing jewelry but for a hard object. The watch be...

Logan Ryan is not too happy with Browns fans

Logan Ryan of the Tennessee Titans decided to jump into the Dawg Pound after an interception returned for a touchdown and is not happy. Logan Ryan can be mad all he wants. The reality is that he should know better than to jump into the stands while playing for the visiting team. Especially when you jump into the Dawg Pound of all places.  https://twitter.com/RealLoganRyan/status/1171052335956713472?s=20 Jumping into the stands of the home team never ends well. In fact it has been well documented that this is a bad idea. It does not matter the caliber of player jumping into the stands. If you are the visitor you are persona non grata in the stands.  Maybe Ryan should be happy he didn’t play in the 80’s when a beer shower would be a nice alternative to the barrage of dog bones...

Do not let this man represent Browns fans

The video the man burning his Cleveland Browns gear after just one game does not represent the true feelings of the actual fanbase. A video of an apparent“Browns fan” burning his Browns gear has gone viral. Let’s get one thing straight. This man does not represent Browns fans. This man is not one of the faithful who have stuck by the team no matter the circumstances. They stuck by when the team was stolen. Cleveland fans continued to support the team when they went through one of the worst stretches in NFL history.  Real Browns fans were there. They do not partake in this nonsense.  https://twitter.com/barstoolsports/status/1170790934407254016?s=20 Let's analyze what is going on here. If this is all of his Browns gear it really is not that much. That small pile pales in compari...
