The Cleveland Browns have traded a 2021 fifth round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for safety Ronnie Harrison.
After the season-ending injury to Grant Delpit the Cleveland Browns have added some depth to their secondary by acquiring safety Ronnie Harrison from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cleveland sent a 2021 fifth round pick to the Jaguars to complete the deal.
Harrison started all 14 games he appeared in last season for Jacksonville, finishing with 71 total tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions and 9 passes defended. The 23-year old safety received a 60.9 grade according to Pro Football Focus.
It is very possible that Ronnie Harrison could play a key role in the Browns secondary considering this group lacks depth. Cleveland can mix Harrison in with other players to try and put together a group that they feel gives them the best chance to limit opposing offenses.
