The Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms on a one-year $1 million deal with return man JoJo Natson.
There could very well be a new return man for the Cleveland Browns next season. The team will be signing former Jets and Rams returner JoJo Natson.
It is a one-year deal worth $1 million for Nation per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Browns needed to find a new return man as Dontrell Hilliard was very underwhelming. If Natson somehow performs worse than Hilliard that would be quite surprising.
JoJo Natson spent his first season in New York with the Jets before playing the last two years with the Los Angeles Rams. Natson is a wide receiver, but only has two career receptions, both coming during his time with Jets. The overwhelming majority of Natson’s action has come as a returner. Natson has a career punt return average of 7.7 yards and a kick return average of 20.6.
Cleveland continues to sign players to one-year deals during the second phase of free agency. Most of their signings are very similar. One year deals with players who have missed time due to injury, and the deal with Natson is no different. JoJo Natson’s final season in Los Angeles was cut short due to a hamstring injury.
