Browns sign Herb Miller, release Jordan Franks

The Cleveland Browns have made two moves involving their practice squad Tuesday.

Tuesday morning was an active morning for the Cleveland Browns. The team has signed cornerback Herb Miller and released tight end Jordan Franks.

Franks was elevated to the active roster Sunday, appearing on 11 special teams snaps in the Browns 26-6 win over the Chicago Bears before ending back on the practice squad and subsequently released.

Miller has appeared in four career games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, intercepting one pass and defending another.
