Browns: Garrett, Ratley did not practice Sunday

The Cleveland Browns were without defensive end Myles Garrett and wide receiver Damion Ratley during practice on Sunday.

Myles Garrett and Damion Ratley did not participate in the Browns practice Sunday according to reports.

Garrett has been missing some time due to a hamstring injury. Ratley is dealing with a groin injury which is what kept him out of practice.

Damion Ratley is someone who needs every opportunity to prove he belongs on the roster. With Cleveland employing a tight end heavy offense, that does not leave a lot of open roster spots for fringe players. The Browns starters are set with Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. The third and fourth receiver position is one that could be up for grabs. Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge, Taiwan Taylor and Ratley all have a chance to claim that role. Ratley missing time may impact whether or not he finds a place in the Browns offense in 2020.
