Cleveland Browns guard Colby Gossett has opted out of the 2020 NFL season, the third lineman and fourth Browns player to opt out.
A fourth Cleveland Browns players has decided to opt out of the upcoming season. Colby Gossett has told the team that he will not be playing in 2020.
Gossett is the latest player to opt-out and third lineman to do so. Defensive tackle Andrew Billings opted out Tuesday and offensive linemen Drew Forbes and Drake Dorbeck opted out previously.
Colby Gossett was drafted by Minnesota in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Gosset would appear in five games for the Arizona Cardinals during the 2018 season. New England signed Gossett to their practice squad briefly before ending up in Cleveland on their practice squad in 2019.
