The Cleveland Browns running backs have tested positive for COVID-19, putting their status for Week 10 into question.
According to reports, Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton have both tested positive for COVID-19. This is following the Cleveland Browns Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The team placed running back John Kelly on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. This leaves D’Ernest Johnson as the Browns lone running back at the moment. Johnson has reportedly tested negative.
Per source, D’Ernest Johnson is vaccinated and has tested negative for COVID-19 to this point. #Browns https://t.co/TEg3IwEyGy

There is still a chance that Chubb and Felton could suit up for the Browns in Week 10 when they face the New England Patriots. Both players are vaccinated and will need two separate negative tests 24 hours apart to be eligible to play.
Browns’ RBs Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton tested positive for COVID-19, sources tell ESPN.
Both players are vaccinated, thus their status for Sunday’s game against New England remains in question. Each player would need two negative tests 24 hours apart to play.

The Browns are going to be facing a tough challenge in New England as Bill Belichck will definitely have something up his sleeve to make the Browns offensive game plan difficult to execute. There have been examples in previous weeks, (Arizona, Pittsburgh), of teams utilizing a similar strategy that Belichick could unleash this Sunday. If Cleveland has to face this type of front without Chubb and Felton, it could be a difficult task for the Browns offense to score enough points.
