In regards to his status for Thursday, Baker Mayfield said “I get to say whether I’m able to play or not.”
Want to be fully transparent, Baker Mayfield's quote, which I included in my article, is:
"So it's my decision. I get to say whether I'm able to play or not and that's just how it is."
Lost a few words with the noise around the presser. Don't want to be misleading in any way.

Considering the nature and severity of his injury it may not be the best decision to be playing in his current state. This is not a contest for how tough of a human he is, this is not only about the current state of the Browns as a whole, but Baker Mayfield’s future as an NFL quarterback. Perhaps Mayfield should rethink trying to play through this injury.
