Koby Altman agrees to contract extension with Cavs

The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to terms on a contract extension with Koby Altman.

After a rocky start to this tenure things are looking up for Koby Altman. Altman has guided the Cavaliers through the darkness of a second post-LeBron era and the team appears to be on an upward trajectory. The Cavs and Altman have agreed to terms on a contract extension that will keep him with the team through 2027-28 and will elevate him to the title of President of Basketball Operations.

This extension comes after the team signed J.B. Bickerstaff earlier this season. Pairing Bickerstaff and Koby Altman for the foreseeable future appears to be the right move for the Cavaliers as they finding success when not many expected them to. There is still work to be done, but things are looking up in Cleveland.
