To keep the Cleveland Cavaliers schedule intact as possible, they have signed Luke Kornet and Justin Anderson to 10-day hardship exemptions.
With seven players in health and safety protocols, the Cavaliers are targeting Kornet and Justin Anderson, of G League's Fort Wayne, as signings if/when granted hardships, sources said. Cleveland is going through retesting process as well. https://t.co/oqpmkb5r5a

The list of Cavaliers players in COVID protocols grew to seven over the weekend resulting in their game on Sunday being postponed. In order to start playing games gain, competitive integrity be damned, Cleveland needs players. Kornet and Anderson’s time with the Cavs will be brief (most likely), but will at least allowed them to have the required eight minimum players to play.
