Browns – Raiders postponed to Monday

The Cleveland Browns scheduled game for Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders has been postponed to Monday.

The NFL found themselves at a crossroads due to an ever growing COVID-19 situation with the Cleveland Browns. With their opponent, the Las Vegas Raiders, waiting to board buses to travel to Cleveland the game was postponed at the last possible moment. The game will now be played on Monday at 5 P.M.

As each day passed the Browns continued to place players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, putting. the competitive integrity os Saturday’s game beyond question. There was no way that a team fielding just a few of their normal starters due to a COVID outbreak in a game that could determine their playoff chances would be considered a fair contest.

While the postponed game could result in more players being placed on the list, there is a chance that others previously placed on it could return giving the Browns a better competitive chance on Monday.
