Jarvis Landry to miss Week 6 vs Arizona

The Cleveland Browns will have to wait at least more one more game before wide receiver Jarvis Landry is activated from IR.

According to reports, Jarvis Landry will not be activated by Saturday’s 4 p.m. deadline and will miss Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. This comes after being designated to return from injured reserve on October 15.

This will be the fourth straight game missed by Jarvis Landry and the first that the Browns will also be without Nick Chubb. Chubb was ruled out Friday after not practicing all week. Not having Chubb was going to be hard enough for the Browns to score points. Now that Landry is also going to miss the game after there was some hope he could return just makes things much more difficult. Cleveland’s rushing offense will have to avoid the drop in production that they experienced last season while Chubb was out and Kareem Hunt started in his place.

Additionally, Baker Mayfield will not have an easy time in the passing game as the player who drives the offense, Chubb, will not be active. If Mayfield wants to quiet the critics of his performance and show that he can be the guy in Cleveland, Week 6 is the perfect opportunity to do just that.
