Cleveland takes on visiting White Sox

The Cleveland Baseball Club is poised to take on the Chicago White Sox at home in a two game series starting Tuesday at 6:10 P.M.

In their last matchup it was the Cleveland Baseball Club taking the final game against the White Sox in Chicago. That will not be the focus of Tuesday’s game. The focus will be how Cleveland’s lineup adjust to facing Carlos Rodon who no-hit the club last week. This is Rodon’s first start since the no-hitter and Cleveland will get a chance for revenge.

Zach Plesac will start for Cleveland and he will be looking for a rebound start Tuesday. Plesac was the starter against Rodon and was hit hard early in the game. The White Sox knocked Plesac out in the 1st inning after allowing 6 runs on 7 hits in just two-thirds of an inning. Based off of Plesac’s career his past indicates he is a significantly better pitcher than that performance. Cleveland will need Plesac to pitch his best to put the team in position to win.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 P.M. at Progressive Field.
