The Cleveland Browns activated three players from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
After some questions about their depth leading into Sunday’s playoff game the Cleveland Browns are getting some reinforcements. Cleveland has activated three key players ahead of their primetime matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ronnie Harrison, Harrison Bryant, and Malcolm Smith have been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Harrison landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier this week after what was thought to be a positive test. This test appears to have been a false positive as the Browns will have the starting safety back Sunday.
With the return of Smith it gives the Cleveland defense a very important veteran with playoff experience. Bryant’s activation gives Baker Mayfield another target in the passing game and an impressive blocker.
Just a few days ago things were looking bleak for the Browns, but on the eve of their first playoff game in 18 years things are looking up.
