Browns make seven roster moves Thursday

The Cleveland Browns made seven roster moves on Thursday which include placing and activating players on and off the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Some good news and some bad news for the Cleveland Browns on Thursday as they made a variety of roster moves. First the good, Cleveland activated Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge, Jarvis Landry, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and Jacob Phillips from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Now the bad, the Browns placed Malcolm Smith and Denzel Ward on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Due to the timing of both players being placed on the list they will be out for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. Ward tested positive for COVID-19 which means he could possibly miss a playoff game.

Luckily for their offense they will get back the receivers they so desperately missed against the Jets. If Kevin Stefanski opts to pass the ball frequently again this week he will at least have the right personnel to do so.
