Chubb, Hunt 1st Browns RB’s to run for 100+ since 1966

The Cleveland Browns running backs are the first duo to each run for 100+ yards in a game since 1966.

Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt managed to do something that has not been done in over 50 years. The Browns running back duo each ran for over 100 yards, a feat that has not happened for Cleveland since 1966 when it was accomplished by Leroy Kelly and Ernie Green. Not even the famous combo of Earnest Byner and Kevin Mack were able to replicate this feat during their run together in the 1980’s.

There are some special names on this list. Not only Browns legends, but NFL legends. Jim Brown, Bobby Mitchell, Leroy Kelly, and Marion Motley are all members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Anytime anyone appears on a list filled with Hall of Fame players it is a special accomplishment. Hopefully Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt can be the first duo to accomplish this feat more than once since Jim Brown and Bobby Mitchell.
