Zach Plesac activated, Cam Hill optioned

The Cleveland Baseball Club made a roster move Tuesday, activating starting pitcher Zach Plesac and optioning relief pitcher Cam Hill.

Cleveland was going to make a roster move to make room for Zach Plesac. Optioning Cam Hill was what Cleveland decided to go with to accommodate Tuesday’s starter.

Hill has appeared in 13 games for Cleveland this season, compiling a 3.95 ERA, 0.659 WHIP, and 7.2 K/9. Hill last appeared in a game on August 30th in St. Louis.

Plesac is making his return to the team after being banished to the Alternate Training Site. A spot in the rotation became available after the team sent Mike Clevinger to San Diego.
