Tyler Naquin non-tendered by Cleveland
The soon to be 30-year old outfielder will become a free agent.
The Cleveland Baseball Club has decided to non-tender outfielder Tyler Naquin. Naquin will now be a free agent. By non-tendering Naquin, Cleveland is able to clear up some of the cluster in their outfield.
Tyler Naquin spent five years with the Cleveland Baseball Club with his best season coming in 2016. While there were a few times that Naquin appeared to be playing well, any sort of injury (minor or major) would derail his season. Naquin appeared in 325 games with the club and slashed .274/.323/.443/.766 with 54 doubles, 31 home runs, 6 triples, and 121 RBI.
