Terry Francona expected to return for 2022
The Cleveland Guardians are expected to see Terry Francona return to the dugout for the 2022 MLB season.
After missing a large portion of the 2021 season, Terry Francona is expected to return to the renamed Cleveland Guardians in 2022.
Francona expects to be back in 2022 and doesn't see any reason to think it won't happen. He reiterated how "hard" everything was for him before he stepped away to take care of his health.#Indians

Terry Francona stepped away due to health issues last season leaving DeMarlo Hale to take over as interim manager. Hale was able to guide the team to an 80-82 record in what was a transition season.
While Tito should be returning to the dugout, he will be without longtime hitting coach Ty Van Burkleo as he will not return next season.
