Popcorn throwing fan deserves to be banned

A fan threw popcorn at Russell Westbrook and they should no longer be allowed to attend sporting events in person ever again. Homer Simpson once said while attending a Springfield Isotopes game that “This ticket gives me the right, no the duty to make a complete ass of myself”. Contrary to the wisdom of Homer Simpson, the real world doesn’t work like that. This brings us to Wednesday’s playoff game between the Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers. Russell Westbrook was leaving the floor after suffering an injury and a fan decided to embrace his inner Homer Simpson by dumping popcorn on the Wizards star. https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1397725002221293568?s=20 This is completely unacceptable and a total scumbag move. This fan should never be allowed to attend a sp...

With A Jimmmitude: Russ, Wall, Davis, WAF

Russell Westbrook-John Wall trade Wednesday's blockbuster trade in the NBA is sure to a cause a ripple effect. Russell Westbrook is heading to Washington and John Wall is going to Houston in a deal that sees stars who really seemed like they were going to be dealt sooner rather than later. The Russell Westbrook experiment in Houston did not quite work out like they hoped and who knows if John Wall playing alongside James Harden will fair any better. This really seems like trying the third version of something they've attempted in as many years. From Chris Paul to Russell Westbrook to John Wall, at some point maybe it is time to realize that bringing another primary ball handler is not the answer for the Rockets. John Wall's tenure with the Wizards seemed to be on borrowed time fo...

Cavs reportedly discussed Russell Westbrook trade

The Cavaliers and Rockets reportedly discussed a trade that would send the former MVP to Cleveland. Nothing like a trade rumor that did not work out and pops up after the fact, but that is what we have here. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets reportedly held trade discussions involving Russell Westbrook per Shams Charania on his Load Management podcast. "The Rockets engaged with several teams on draft week, free agency week, whatever you want to call it. They talked to Washington about John Wall, which I reported, they talked to Cleveland I'm told."Shams Charania in regards to the Rockets trade discussions involving Russell Westbrook Looking back at this trade that did not happen this may be a good thing. This is not about the talent of Russell Westbrook, but the o...

Russell Westbrook wants out of Houston

The Rockets guard is looking to play elsewhere as he wants to leave Houston after just one season. At this moment in time the state of the Houston Rockets is up in the air. The team has parted ways with coach Mike D'Antoni and general manager Daryl Morey, both have since found homes in Brooklyn and Philadelphia respectively. It appears that Russell Westbrook is also looking for a new home as he reportedly wants out of Houston per Shams Charania. https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1326678884226658311?s=20 There were concerns about whether or not the Russell Westbrook and James Harden pairing would work. While the team performed well during the regular season, they still failed to achieve the ultimate goal of winning a championship. This is the second consecutive season wh...

Russell Westbrook to the Cavs?

After the Thunder sent Paul George to the Clippers, Oklahoma City and Russell Westbrook are exploring their trade options. Paul George joined Kawhi Leonard in Los Angeles via trade and suddenly the Oklahoma City Thunder are in full rebuild mode. The team and Russell Westbrook are attempting to work out a trade and some are suggesting Cleveland as a possibility. The only problem is this is not a trade that makes a ton of sense for the Cavaliers. This has absolutely nothing to do with the talent of Russell Westbrook. He is one of the best players in the NBA. Westbrook has shown he is capable of leading a team on playoff runs and filling the stat sheet. The problem is the current state of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland is currently in the midst of sort of, but not really rebuild. Y...
