Patrick Carney to fill in for John Adams at Home Opener
The drummer for The Black Keys will fill in for John Adams at the Cleveland Baseball Club home opener Monday.
Due to some health issues John Adams will not be at Cleveland Baseball Club home opener for the first time in almost 50 years. Needing a fill-in, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys will make his way down to Progressive Field for the home opener. Carney is from Akron and will sit in Adams’ seat in the bleachers and for their game against the Kansas City Royals.
A Cleveland Baseball Club home opener would not be the same with fans in the stands and no drumming come from the bleachers. While the return of Adams will have to wait, the drumming come from the bleacher section will make things seem a bit more normal.
