Nick Chubb knows Browns can run the ball

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb stated Tuesday that he knows that the team can run the ball and that they need to stick with it.

Coming into the season there is one thing that was pretty much guaranteed about the Cleveland Browns offense. They are going to be able to run the ball. Nick Chubb echoed that assessment on Tuesday.

Nick Chubb also added that the team has to keep running the ball so other aspects of the offense can be productive. That is why Sunday’s game plan was so confusing. The Browns ran the ball 24 times with their running backs and passed 39 times. This seems to be the opposite of what the team should be doing. George Costanza needs to stop doing “The Opposite” and get back to what we all know the team does best, running the football.

Nick Chubb would finish the game with 10 carries for 60 yards and he fumbled once. Kareem Hunt carried the ball 13 times for 72 yards and D’Ernest Johnson had 5 yards on his lone carry of the game. The Browns will need to run early and often if they are going to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Thursday.
