Minnesota Twins sign J.A. Happ
The veteran pitcher has agreed to a one-year deal with the Minnesota Twins after spending the previous five seasons in the A.L. East.
The Minnesota Twins have made a move to add a veteran pitcher to their rotation by signing J.A. Happ to a one-year deal.
This brings an end to his tour of the American League East having spent the previous five seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees.
J.A. Happ has mostly been an innings eater type with the occasional outstanding season. Happ’s relative inconsistency has been why he has bounced around from team to team. Happ owns a career 3.98 ERA, 1.301 WHIP, and 8 K/9 and should be able to give the Twins rotation some stability at worst and one of his better seasons at best.
