Liam Foudy recalled to taxi squad by Columbus
The Blue Jackets recalled the 21-year old center to their taxi squad Sunday.
When the Cleveland Monsters take the ice against the Texas Stars Sunday they will be doing so without Liam Foudy. The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled Foudy to their taxi squad.
Liam Foudy started the season with the Blue Jackets and struggled a bit, resulting in being sent to Cleveland. In 12 games Foudy had 3 points (all assists) with the Blue Jackets. Since being sent down to the Monsters, Foudy eclipsed his point total with 4, matched his assist total, and scored a goal in only 4 games. The brief stint in the AHL could have been exactly what Foudy needed to get back on track in Columbus.
