Larry Ogunjobi looks ready for next season

Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi posted a picture on his twitter account of himself working out during quarantine.

The 2020 season will be an important one for Larry Ogunjobi. The soon-to-be 26-year old defensive tackle will need to take a step forward as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. Based off the pictures he posted to his twitter account he certainly looks ready.

This is not the first time that Ogunjobi has gotten attention through his workout. An article on Heavy.com highlighted his work with Dr Shariff Tabbah. Based off the previous article about his workouts and his recent social media post, Ogunjobi looks like he will be ready to go for the 2020 season.

While Ogunjobi’s 5.5 sacks last season are impressive, they do not tell the whole story. Pro Football Focus was not high on his 2019 season gave him a grade of 56, which is hardly encouraging. The defensive scheme that Cleveland ran last season did not seem tailored to work with the skill set of Ogunjobi. The lack of depth was also an issue as Ogunjobi played more than he probably should have last season.

Luckily the Browns have a new defensive coordinator in Joe Woods and added some help on the line with the signing of Andrew Billings. The Browns have done their part to help Larry Ogunjobi, the rest is up to him. By the looks of his workouts, he certainly looks up to the challenge.
