Jose Ramirez and Franmil Reyes sent home
The two members of the Cleveland Baseball Club were sent home after the violation.
Jose Ramirez and Franmil Reyes are being sent home after violations of COVID-19 protocols. The Cleveland Baseball Club does not have a timetable for return for either player.
Both players self reported their violations which also included Chicago Cubs pitcher Pedro Strop.
Franmil Reyes was sent home last season for a violation prior to the return to play for the 2020 season. This is the first known and reported violation for Jose Ramirez.
