Domingo Santana to Alternate Training Site
The Cleveland Baseball Club have outrighted outfielder Domingo Santana to their Alternate Training Site.
Domingo Santana will remain with the Cleveland Baseball Club as they have outrighted him to the Alternate Training Site.
Cleveland also released infielder Jake Elmore.
Santana did not live up to expectations in this short season. The Cleveland Baseball Club needed him to hit and he did not deliver. This was part of the reason why Cleveland acquired outfielder Josh Naylor in the deal that sent Mike Clevinger to San Diego.
There is the possibility that Domingo Santana could return to the Cleveland Baseball Club at some point, but if other outfielders on the big league roster are hitting that makes it less likely.
