Cleveland looks to bounce back vs. Milwaukee

Aaron CIvale will start for the Cleveland Baseball Club as they look to bounce back Saturday against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Friday night did not go as planned as the Cleveland Baseball Club dropped the first game of the series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Cleveland is looking to bounce back Saturday as they will send Aaron Civale to the mound.

Aaron Civale has never faced the Brewers or anyone in their lineup before. Civale has a 3.72 ERA, 1.109 WHIP, and 8.4 K/9 this season. The 25-year old right hander is coming off of two rough outings which has seen him allow 8 runs in 12 innings on 15 hits and 2 home runs. Like Cleveland, Civale is looking to bounce back Saturday and get back on the right track.

Brandon Woodruff will start for Milwaukee and he has faced a few Cleveland batters in the past. Unfortunately, Woodruff has had his way in his previous appearances against them. Cesar Hernandez is 1-7 with 2 strikeouts. Josh Naylor is 1-3 with 2 strikeouts. Both Carlos Santana and Austin Hedges are 0-1, the difference being Santana has drawn a walk against Woodruff. Brandon Woodruff has given up 2 or more runs in six straight starts. This might be what Cleveland needs to jumpstart their offense after a rough outing on Friday.

Saturday’s game is scheduled to start at 7:10 P.M.
