Cavs sign Yogi Ferrell to 10-day contract
The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed the free agent guard to a 10-day contract after being granted a hardship exception.
It has not been an easy run for the Cleveland Cavaliers lately as they have had to try and put together a lineup while navigating through a long list of injuries. In their 100-90 loss to the Bucks on Saturday they only had one guard who was active (Damyean Dotson). To make things a little bit easier the team has signed Yogi Ferrell to a 10-day contract.
The Cavs were granted a hardship extension in order to make the signing. Yogi Ferrell has previously played for the Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, and Sacramento Kings. Ferrell averages 7.8 points, 2.3 assists, and 2.1 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per game.
