Cam Johnson assigned to Monsters
The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned the goaltender to the Cleveland Monsters.
This is essentially a reversal of the move made yesterday by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Cam Johnson has been assigned to the Cleveland Monsters while Matiss Kivlenieks is recalled to the taxi squad.
Cam Johnson has spent the majority of the last two seasons playing for the Florida Everglades of the ECHL. Johnson last saw action in the AHL during the 2018-19 season with the Binghamton Devils. In 32 games with Binghamton, Johnson allowed 3.80 goals per game and had a save percentage of 0.873.
