Browns sign Ryan Switzer to practice squad
The Cleveland Browns have signed wide receiver and return man Ryan Switzer to their practice squad after he visited earlier in the week.
Earlier this week the Cleveland Browns had Ryan Switzer in for a visit. Now Switzer is a member of the Browns practice squad after signing Thursday.
Ryan Switzer was mentioned as a candidate to replace the injured JoJo Natson on special teams.
The Browns signed Dontrell Hilliard from their practice squad as a possible immediate replacement on Wednesday. With time his roster spot could end up belonging to Ryan Switzer who is a superior option in the return game. Cleveland needs to have a return man who can be a positive on special teams and that does not describe Hilliard.
