Browns sign Cody Parkey, waive Austin Seibert
The Cleveland Browns have signed kicker Cody Parkey and waived Austin Seibert Monday after struggling in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens.
The Browns signed Cody Parkey to their 53-man roster Monday.
Austin Seibert missed an extra point and field goal in Sunday’s 38-6 loss to the Ravens. The team subsequently waived Seibert after signing Parkey.
This is the second stint in Cleveland. for Cody Parkey. Parkey was with the Browns in 2016 making 80% of his field goals and 95.2% of his extra point attempts. Parkey is probably best known for the double doink during his one season with the Chicago Bears.
