Browns sign Anthony Walker to one-year deal
The Cleveland Browns added some help on defense by signing the free agent linebacker.
The theme of this offseason has been getting better on defense and that did not stop Friday. The Cleveland Browns have signed free agent linebacker Anthony Walker to a one-year deal worth $3.5 million according to reports.
Anthony Walker should be an instant difference maker for the Browns defense, a unit that had few of them last season. Walker is someone capable of making a ton of tackles and that is what a defense needs, a high volume tackler. The former Colt finished last season with 92 total tackles, 62 of which were solo. Walker topped 100 tackles in the previous two seasons with 105 in 2018 and 124 in 2019.
