Browns elevate A.J. Green from practice squad
The Cleveland Browns have eleveated cornerback A.J. Green from their practice squad to their active roster ahead of Sunday’s game.
A.J. Green will be on the active roster of the Cleveland Browns when they take on the Washington Football Team Sunday. No, not the receiver on the Bengals, the rookie cornerback from Oklahoma State.
This does point towards some not so good news in regards to Denzel Ward. Ward was listed as questionable along with three other players being designated as out. The Browns are already going to be without Olivier Vernon, Greedy Williams, and Jacob Phillips on Sunday. Being down two starting corners would be a big blow for a talent deficient Browns secondary.
