BR Round 2 and 3 mock draft for Browns

A Round 2 and 3 mock draft from Bleacher Report would have the Cleveland Browns making some picks to improve their defense.

This is a much improved mock draft for the Cleveland Browns compared to the disaster scenario from PFT. Bleacher Report has Cleveland addressing positions of need on defense.

41. S Antoine Winfield Jr. Minnesota

Absolutely great pick here. The Cleveland Browns need at least one safety and drafting Antoine Winfield Jr. would be a great addition to the back end of their secondary. Cleveland currently has Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo on one-year deals, but they need a long term solution. Winfield would certainly provide an upgrade to a secondary that desperately needs it and would relegate Sendejo into a part-time role which he is better off in at this point in his career.

74. LB Logan Wilson Wyoming

The other glaring need for Cleveland? Linebacker. The Browns moved on from both Joe Schobert and Christian Kirskey and have not adequately replaced either player. Adding Logan Wilson into a group of Mack Wilson Sione Takitaki, and B.J. Goodson has the linebacker group looking better, but still in need of improvement.

97. S Kenny Robinson XFL

Adding another safety is exactly what the Browns need and Kenny Robinson would be an excellent pick at the end of Round 3. For those who are fans of Pro Football Focus, they absolutely love him. While Robinson may not start, inserting him into sub packages and developing him along the way would be a great way to build the Cleveland secondary.
