Blue Jackets reassign Bayreuther, Peeke
The Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned two players to the taxi squad Saturday.
The Cleveland Monsters are set to take on the Rochester Americans Saturday, but they will be without Gavin Bayreuther and Andrew Peeke. The Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned both players to their taxi squad ahead of Saturday’s games for both clubs.
Bayreuther is tied for second on the Monsters in points with 10 and his 9 assists lead the team. Peeke has 4 points in 7 games for Cleveland this season, all coming on assists.
