Blue Jackets assign Andrew Peeke to Cleveland
The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned the defenseman to the Cleveland Monsters.
A familiar face will be returning to the Cleveland Monsters as the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned Andrew Peeke to their AHL affiliate.
As Aaron Portzline mentions in the above tweet, Andrew Peeke has struggled recently. A return to the AHL could provide the 22-year old defenseman with a chance to find his form. If Peeke does figure things out a return to Columbus could be in the cards.
Andrew Peeke has two assists in six games for the Columbus Blue Jackets this season.
